I have sent in my information, why haven’t I
heard anything?
BI is most likely evaluating your suitability for upcoming business. It
can take from six to 18 months to be considered for business. Be patient,
if you haven’t received an email telling you we’re not interested
your organization is still in consideration. We will reach out to
you when we have opportunity.
Can I schedule a time to meet with the buyer who
handles my commodity?
Unfortunately, due to the volume of business we conduct,
we can only meet with suppliers when there is an opportunity
for business.
What diverse supplier classifications (also called Business Classifications)
does BI track?
- Minority Business Enterprises (small and large)
- Small Businesses
- Disadvantaged Businesses
- Women (small and large)
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT)
- Veterans and Disabled Veterans

- People with Disabilities

How can I contact BI?
Please send an e-mail to:

Include the following information:
- Your complete contact information (Contact name, phone, address, email,
etc.)
- Your value proposition – a high level overview of the goods you
sell or the services you provide.
- Your certification status
- NAICS code (North American Industry Classification System)
Once we receive your e-mail, we will forward your information on to the
buyer in charge of your particular area. They will indicate whether
they are interested in learning more about your company and if there are
any upcoming opportunities.
If the buyer is not interested, we will respond with
that information and thank you for your time.
If the buyer is interested, you will be invited to participate
in an electronic Request for Information. From there, it could take
anywhere from six to 18 months for an opportunity to compete for business
to become available.

lost or forgotten my password, how can I have it reset?
