Educational Objectives

1. Improve the knowledge, skills and behaviors of clinicians’ as they relate to understanding HIV resistance and resistance testing and assessment in order to improve management of HIV treatment-experienced patients.  
   
2. Enhance the clinician’s knowledge and understanding of recent studies regarding ARVs.
   
3. Enhance the clinician’s knowledge regarding the treatment of HIV and the management of co-morbid conditions.   
4. Educate clinicians on HIV treatment guidelines.
5. Improve the clinicians’ ability to recognize and understand important differences among HIV patient types and to identify appropriate communication methods and management practices.
