Disease State: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Educational Objectives

1. Improve knowledge and skills required by healthcare providers to correctly identifypatients at risk, diagnose patients with COPD, and implement guideline based care for those patients. 
2. Increase the awareness and knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation as guideline recommended care for patients with COPD. 
3. Increase awareness and understanding of the cholinergic component of chronic obstructive airway disorders
4. Improve the competencies necessary for HCP to identify, prioritize, and manage patients who have multiple co-morbidities, including COPD
5. Increase awareness of new scientific and clinical data that demonstrates the effect of the cholinergic system on the pathophysiology of asthma
