Boehringer Ingelheim is proud to provide Medical Grant support for specific educational or research-related academic that provide value to healthcare professionals or patients. Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. supports both tradional and innovative activities that seek to enhance understanding of current and evolving approaches to the comprehensive management of disease.
To qualify, requests for support must relate to one or more of the following therapeutic areas:
Respiratory, Neurology, Cardiovascular, Virology and Urology.
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Hypertension
- Thrombosis - Neurologic Disease
- Parkinson's Disease (PD)
- Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) - Respiratory Disease
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - Virologic Disease
- HIV / AIDS - Urologic Disease
- Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH)
Please note that Medical Grants do not support activities that contain promotional materials.
Specific activities ineligible for support include the following:
- Continuing education credit fees/tuition, travel or lodging for a healthcare professional to attend an education and/or scientific conference
- Direct scholarships or grants to individuals or group practices
- Charitable donations
- Political, lobbying, fraternal, or social organizations
